A large multi-stemmed shrub with a medium growth rate and reaches a mature height of 4-10 ft. This shrub prefers full sun but can tolerate shade and grows in a variety of soils, has edible brown nut that ripens in early fall, and provides food and cover for wildlife. Large colonies can form due to root suckers; works well as a screen or hedge. Sold in a bundle of 25 bare root seedlings, 12-18" tall.
