A deciduous tree with a slow/medium growth rate and reaches a mature height of 60-75 ft. This tree prefers full sun to partial shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soils, has small greenish-yellow flower clusters in the spring and red, orange, or yellow fall color, makes an excellent shade tree, is a popular landscape tree, and produces sap which can be used to make maple syrup. Sold in a bundle of 25 bare root seedlings, 12-18" tall.
