A conifer tree with a fast growth rate and reaches a mature height of 40-70 ft. This tree prefers full sun and moist to wet soils, has soft, pale green needles that turn yellow/golden in the fall before falling off, has small, round cones, and is common in swamps and bogs. The Tamarack is the only conifer in MN that sheds it’s needles each fall. Sold in a bundle of 25 bare root seedlings, 12-18" tall.
