Responsibilities: Provides coordination and technical assistance for water resource monitoring, protection, planning, and research. Coordinates and implements targeted, BMP, diagnostic, biological, and other non-typical monitoring strategies, including seeking special funding for projects. Assists with gathering field data, monitoring equipment installation/removal, data summaries and reports, BMP implementation, and other duties as assigned. Also coordinates the Volunteer Stream Monitoring Program, an Erosion Control Program including instruction of certification classes with the University of Minnesota, and provides GIS support to other staff and agencies including modelling, map production, and data management.
Education: B.S. in Watershed Management with a minor in Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Analysis from UW - Stevens Point.
Certifications and Awards: Eagle Scout, Confined Space Entry and Rescue Certificate.
