Join Washington County Master Gardeners for a FREE in-person workshop Monday, Jan. 13, 6-7:30 p.m. at Bayport Library in Bayport. Winter sowing is a low-maintenance way of starting plants in winter for next year’s garden.
In these classes Master Gardener volunteer educators will teach:
Why it’s important to start native perennial seeds in winter
How to create your own mini-greenhouses from milk jugs
How to help seedlings in the spring months
Soil and seeds will be provided. Please bring two plastic containers (i.e. milk jugs).
