Join us for a Volunteer Summit! Reconnect with friends, meet volunteers from local parks and nature centers, and get ideas for new ways to talk about and teach about landscape restoration.

Carrol Henderson, the now-retired founder of the Minnesota DNR Nongame Wildlife Program, will speak to the value of volunteers and the important ways they have helped to advance wildlife protection and restoration efforts in Minnesota. We’ll also have food and a guided hike with educational learning stations led by Lynette Anderson of Belwin, Janine Kohn of MN DNR, and Angie Hong of EMWREP. This event is for Minnesota Water Stewards, St. Croix Watershed Stewards, Watershed District citizen advisory committee members, park & nature center volunteers, habitat restoration volunteers, and Master Gardeners.
