  • Washington Conservation District 455 Hayward Avenue North Oakdale, MN 55128 United States (map)

March is the perfect month to begin planning spring and summer gardening projects. But, there are common mistakes people make in the spring that can actually harm plants and wildlife in your yard. During this presentation, Angie Hong will talk about resources to help you create a wildlife and water friendly yard and offer advice on spring gardening “dos and don’ts.”

Angie Hong coordinates the East Metro Water Resource Education Program, a local government partnership hosted by the Washington Conservation District with 30 members. She holds a M.S. degree in Natural Resources Science and Management with an emphasis on Environmental Education (UM Twin Cities, 2004) and a B.S. in Zoology (UW Madison, 2000).
